Ralph Glezer

Ralph Glezer is the Director of Glezer Lanteri & Associates Pty Ltd.

He was admitted to practice in 1976 and has practised in the Family Law jurisdiction for over 40 years.

Ralph is an Accredited Family Law Specialist having obtained his accreditation in 1989, the first time accreditation was offered in Australia. He has also served on the Family Law Executive of the Law Institute of Victoria for approximately 20-25 years and was appointed Chair of the Executive in 2015 and currently holds that position. Through his involvement on the Executive and the Courts Practice Committee, Ralph is readily aware of and participates in professional discussion and development with respect to current matters and reform in the Family Law jurisdiction. His knowledge ensures that clients are receiving current and up-to-date advice.

In his practice Ralph deals with all aspects of Family Law. He has represented a variety of clients both in individual and corporate capacities. He has also acted for third party interveners and parties disputing joinder in Family Law proceedings.

Ralph holds a special interest in financial litigation, having assisted clients in complex financial cases by providing advice with respect to Family Law and defacto relationship associated issues concerning company structures, taxation issues, family and corporate trusts as well as matters relating to financial discovery both in Australia and overseas.

Ralph is widely experienced in all aspects of Family Law matters relating to:

Complex property matters involving family trusts and company issues
Third party litigation
Children’s matters including residence/contact disputes, relocation, paternity, passport applications, name change, Hague Convention, child support and adult child maintenance

Ralph is:

Chair of the Family Law Executive of the Law Institute of Victoria
A member of the Family Court Practice Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria and a previous Chairman of that committee
A regular speaker for and presenter of Case Watch for the Television Education Network (TEN), having featured on various TEN DVD and CD Family Law programmes
A former Law Institute representative on the Family Court’s Domestic Violence Liaison Committee
A member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia
